Memorial Day is one of the US most poignant Federal holidays. It’s a day to remember and honor those who have lost their lives in service.
Take time today to reflect on those we have lost in service through many historic battles including the Civil War, WWII, and more recent conflicts. Many of us come together as a town to watch parades, visit memorials, or host BBQs with family and friends as this weekend unofficially marks the start of Summer.
Let’s take a moment to remember and thank the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice. May we never forget that freedom isn’t free.
