The 4th of July, or Independence Day, is arguably America’s favorite holiday! The day commemorates when the US gained its independence, so historically, the day is filled with celebrations, picnics, fireworks, swimming parties, etc. One of the most colorful and interesting celebrations of the year; it’s a time to get together with friends, enjoy your favorite summer foods, listen to music, and have a great time.
This day screams red, white, and blue – from dress code to foods. Red is for hardiness and valor. White is for purity and innocence and blue is for vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
July 4 is a perfect occasion to celebrate the USA and all its glory. The historic meaning behind this holiday is one of freedom and independence. It’s a great time for us as Americans to recognize how fortunate we are to live in the “land of the free” and “home of the brave”.
So, however you are celebrating the 4th of July is all about spending time with family, friends and loved ones. It’s important to celebrate our country’s Independence Day and remember the significance and our history!
Please note Tri-Creek Home Improvement Center will be closed on Tuesday, July 4 to observe this holiday.
